​Heritage Buildings Guided Tour, Fri 14 Nov, 10-11am
Explore ÅŒamaru’s heritage precinct with the ÅŒamaru Whitestone Civic Trust. This guided walk offers a fascinating look into the Trust’s history and its vital role in preserving and restoring the town’s remarkable Victorian streetscape. Learn how a group of locals transformed derelict buildings into a vibrant hub and local treasure - ensuring Oamaru’s architectural history continues to tell its stories.

We’re sorry this event won’t be going ahead, but there are plenty of other great events at the same time - check the programme for more options.
ÅŒamaru Coastal Defence Display, Fri 14 Nov only - Cancelled
The display scheduled for Friday 14 November has been cancelled.
You can still enjoy all the action on Saturday (10.00am – 5.00pm) and Sunday (10.00am – 3.00pm).
We’ll have signage on-site Friday to let visitors know about the change. And of course, don’t miss the firing of the 25-pounder at midday on both Saturday and Sunday.

Hand Trolley Racing
(Thu 13 Nov, 1–3pm)
Cheer on local teams as they race hand trolleys down the railway track for charity - or enter a team of up to four.
