The OVHC Committee brings Heritage Weekend to life - staging favourites like the Garden Party, Street Parade, Cycle Races, Fashion Show, Ceilidh, and more. 

We also work with local businesses, organisations and community groups to create an exciting events programme offering something for everyone.
 

We’re on the hunt for new members with fresh ideas to make this November’s celebrations our best yet.

You’ll be part of a very diverse and friendly crew with community connections, and you'll have the freedom to shape your role around your interests.
 

Meetings are generally every four weeks (60–90 minutes), and you’re welcome to come along and see what we do before committing.
 

Not ready for the committee? We’d still love to hear from you! There are plenty of small ways to get involved, and every extra pair of hands helps make the festivities a success.
