Victorian influences on Janet Frame’s writing

Saturday 14 November, 2pm-4pm, 56 Eden Street.

Join us at Janet Frame’s childhood home to hear Ralph Sherwood read excerpts from Victorian prose and poetry. Janet Frame was inspired by many authors who wrote during the Victorian era so this is a unique opportunity to experience some of those influences while immersed in the home where Janet Frame grew to love the written word. Bookings essential. Ticket price includes entry to the house and afternoon tea. The Janet Frame House is open to the public during the rest of heritage week from 2pm-4pm for the usual $5 admission.

Entry & refreshments $5, door sales.
