Come and enjoy the Oamaru Victorian Heritage Celebrations where we re-create the colour and atmosphere of the Victorian age.
The Oamaru Victorian Heritage Celebrations occur every year in the third week of November. We offer a warm welcome and enlightening, entertaining and informative events. Enjoy a range of events throughout the week including dances, traditional music, Victorian-style food, historical talks, a garden party, penny farthing races and more. There's something for everyone!
The Oamaru area boasts grand Victorian architecture, traditional rural homesteads and beautiful gardens making it the perfect location to explore the Victorian era. Please join us!
